Location, location, location. This one has been topping my New York to-go list for months, and we finally got around to shooting there! I love the rusty pink bridge, otherwise known as the Williamsburg bridge. Connecting one awesome part of the city with another. We’ve only been to “the other side” a handful of times, and every single time we hop on the subway or in the Uber, we say to each other how much fun it is to be there. This day started strolling around the neighborhood (obviously not in these heels, I just brought them for the pics), browsing through boutique stores – ending up at La Esquina for brunch. My friend Andy took us to the Soho version once before, the food is so good! This Brooklyn department of the mexican restaurant is a bit different (it’s a transformed American diner) and more affordable. Definitely one to stop by whenever you’re around, especially in summer: they have a terrace with cute lights and stuff. Anyway, the day ended walking over the Williamsburg bridge at sundown. Such a gorgeous view, my blogger heart skipped a beat! And, there we go again, the perfect location to shoot this look. I want to go back next time to shoot something more “street”, although I doubt I’ll head over in February because of what I’ve been told has the crazy cold. For now it’s back in Amsterdam for the holidays and a bunch of trips in January before I return.
