THE YACHT WEEK

Those of you following me on Instagram might’ve noticed a Croatia overload over the past week. Sorry, not sorry! The reason behind the multitude of photos was my Yacht Week experience. A week on a boat in the Mediterranean, sun, sea and a lot of amazing food – all in good company. What was not to love? The only thing that scared me beforehand was getting seasick, but fortunately my medicine helped me through that and I didn’t get sick once. So what we did was exactly what I hoped we would. From bay to bay on a daily basis, sailing over the Adriatic sea with pit stops in the tiniest little towns to discover during the day and to celebrate in during the night. So much beauty! One of my fave days was the day we decided to sail out to the Blue Caves to watch the sunset. Now, I’m not a morning person whatsoever, but this was definitely worth getting up at 5AM for. It’s been truly one of the most memorable experiences. All by ourselves, watching the sun rise above the sea before all the tourist boats started to emerge. Insane! Can’t describe with words… We shot this look on our yacht around 6.30AM. Might’ve been the earliest shoot I’ve ever done! But I’m so happy we did, and that I get to share this experience with you guys.

A big shout out to our skipper Dane and hostess Tori for taking care of us and to everyone else for making this trip one for the books!
