We bought a flash a few weeks back and figured our stay at The Redbury hotel in NYC was the perfect time to finally test it out. We’ve been using the same photography tricks for years now, so I figured it’s only good to spice it up every now and then. A little coveteur-ish influence never hurt nobody no? And our hotel definitely was the perfect backdrop. I’ve been crushing hard on the color red so imagine my reaction when I entered this hotel. It’s all in a name hah? Staying here feels like staying in a home rather than a hotel, it looks and feels very cosy. The rooms are quite big, which is a huge plus when it’s the two of us working from there. And enough space for all my fashion week luggage!
The location is pretty great, from there you can walk to Soho or midtown, and have your daily breakfast in Madison Square Park (don’t forget to stop by Stumptown Coffee Roasters for your caffeine fix on the way). The hotel also has a small gym, and free access to a bigger now nearby plus a very yummy restaurant called Marta. Do not leave without trying the Fiora di Zucca pizza with mozzarella, anchovies and zucchini flowers. To good! Big thanks to The Redbury, already can’t wait to be back!
