It’s that time of the year… Darker days, festive lights on, big winter coats from the attic. Although I’m not a huge winter fan, I do love this time of the year – leading up to Christmas and New Year’s. I cut my time in Amsterdam short to go on a end-of-year holiday with my man. We really needed a little downtime after a busy few months between The Netherlands and New York City. Amsterdam is particularly pretty right now because of all the light installation throughout the city. I think they’re there for a little while longer, so pretty! We walked around to catch a few, and I see them when I’m on my bike en route to the office and back, but you can also book a boat trip that takes you along the route. I was planning on doing that but I ran out of time. That’s me in a nutshell: running out of time. I’m always super optimistic with my planning, I tend to be late for everything I do in life except for deadlines. I hate being late for that, so try to finish everything I have to do for clients well ahead of time. Speaking of time, how about this stunning Tiffany’s East West watch I recently got? Such a classic statement piece! The face of the watch has the classic “Tiffany’s” color, it really pops in my wintery outfit here. Recently (is it because I’m getting older?) I’ve been focusing more and more on less clothing, higher quality. That definitely counts when it comes to watches. I only wear a couple, but I think I’ll be wearing all of those for years to come. I’d rather splurge once than continuously spending money on more “seasonal” items!
Have the best new year you guys!!!
