Wearing: vintage suede fringe jacket (similar one here), Topshop skirt, Topshop boots (on sale!), Daniel Wellington watch, Urban Outfitters sunglasses (almost the same “el cheapo” here), Claris Virot bag, River Island top.
When I first saw this location popping up on Instagram, I instantly knew that I needed to shoot there. So pink, so retro! What’s not to love? It was a 10 minute drive from where Ralph’s family lives (where we’re usually stay whenever we’re in LA), so very convenient. Whenever I’m on the road I try to find the right balance between the obvious locations to shoot at, regular street style and unique places. I think this one might float somewhere in-between the first and last categorie, some might know it from the photos, but it’s definitely a very unique spot at the same time. Anyway, I love it! I’ve been going on the retro tour more and more, stepping away from the Scandi minimalism more and more, mixing it all up with vintage finds – my styling is a mix between 70s, 90s and a little of the Swedish finesse still. I guess it just depends on whatever mood I have! I never know what I’m gonna wear beforehand, I always choose my outfits on-the-go. This jacket was a vintage find from a little while back, a mix between those exact styles I love so much: the 70s suede fringes and the 90s big shoulders.. All these details make an all black outfit like this so much more exciting!
This coming week I’ll be finalizing most of travel plans for the summer, which makes me more excited than anything else in this world! Especially when I get to do just that together with Ralph, traveling together is so much more fun. So far I’m looking at Ibiza, France and London in July. Still trying to fit Stockholm (I want to visit Zanita at her new house) and Copenhagen for fashion week in. In August I’ll be heading to Croatia and my favorite destination in this whole wide world almost straight after… Can you guess which one?
