Rag & Bone leather jacket, Current/Elliott jeans, Iris & Ink blouse, black Proenza Schouler bucket bag
It’s almost the end of summer aka fashion week season again. Yup, really! Which also means time for a refreshed wardrobe with cool new styles for Fall. This season I’m going for red, red, red! You might have noticed over the past few weeks that I totally caved – it’s my new go-to color. Today I’m showing you how I pair my fave street style trends into one look. I opted for a Rag & Bone leather jacket that I got on THEOUTNET.COM one of my fave websites offering 350+ designers for an amazing price. Designer clothing for an amazing price, uhm yes please?! Especially when I’m looking for that special piece! Red leather is going to be big in the coming few months, so a classic biker jacket is a very appropriate way to start off, no? Just like the frayed Current/Elliott jeans I’m wearing here, a big hit at last February’s fashion weeks. This statement piece will easily become everyone’s staple because it’s so easy to wear from day to night by just changing the shoes (and adding a red lip maybe)! Worn with heels above, but as you might be able to guess: I’d just as easy wear the frayed jeans with sneakers and a simple white tee. On top I layered a floral blouse from THE OUTNET’s in-house label Iris & Ink worn as a dress. Florals had a huge moment this Summer, and because I’m still quite obsessed with floral pieces I’ll just keep on wearing them throughout the next season. The black Proenza Schouler bucket bag is a basic piece that goes with everything. Big enough to fit all the essentials in and perfect to bring for date night too!
I don’t believe in following trends bluntly, but I would be ignorant to tell you that I don’t care about them. Because that’s what’s making fashion so exciting too, what keeps on evolving my personal style. I pick and choose what really works for me, and goes well with all the other pieces in my wardrobe. I’m more and more for basics that’ll last throughout at last a couple of seasons – and invest in those. THE OUTNET is one of those places I always succeed in finding something I love. And in this case, just in time for New York (fashion week)!!
