AMSTERDAM OR NEW YORK?

My last few days in Amsterdam the weather switched from grey and moody to warm and bright. The real Fall weather! The perfect closure to a couple of weeks at home before heading back to New York. We’re currently sort of living between the two cities, as work focus is shifting to the US a bit more than before. And I love that! It’s always been a dream of mine to eventually move to the States, and it seems like those dreams are closer to becoming a reality more than ever. You never know, obviously, but I’d love to be optimistic and think it’s gonna happen. With these kind of things I’ve learned to have a \”we’ll see, and take things and opportunities as they come\” kinda attitude, as you never know what comes up in your personal and working life. I don’t really plan too much ahead because of this specific reason, I guess that’s part of being self employed. And although it gives me headaches from time to time (work never stops), I do love it at the same time. Anyway, coming back to where I started this article: home. And things are changing in Amsterdam as well. I feel like the city is finally making big steps to keep up with the growth and exciting features other big cities like London and New York have. We’re getting more and more super nice hotels, fabulous restaurants and cute boutiques. Like Sandro, one of my fave French brands who opened a concept store in Amsterdam recently. I’m obsessed with the glitter top you’re getting a sneak peek of in this shoot, more of that to come for sure! It’s with me in New York right now, and is surely gonna be a main character in loads of my outfit, so follow me on Instagram and Snapchat to stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest (username raspberrynrouge).
