It’s cooling down so fast here in Amsterdam, it already feels like winter. A little bit, but still. It’s colder than usual around this time of the year, so I already got my winter coats out of the attic. Or at least some of them because obviously I wanted to have a few new ones too. Coats are a thing for Dutch people, mainly because we need one most days of the year. The colder season only just started, but I already think I can make up a top 3 of favorite coats for this winter. The one I’m wearing above is definitely in there. It’s quite the eye catcher and I love that! When I’m back home in Amsterdam I tend to dress more casual than I would in New York or Los Angeles, so a statement piece like this one is essential to make the entire look more interesting. Another key element in this look, a little Kate Moss-ish (London style!), are the red shoes. They’re kinda quirky but I love them! I got them from , their own brand , a line I only just tried out myself for the first time. But I’ve already worn them a whole bunch of times in the 1,5 week I had them so I guess they’re a winning pair. And so comfy! I don’t really wear heels a lot (apart from the occasional date night) so these are the perfect in-between option for me. Also, the heel is basically non-existent, so I’m not even sure if these would qualify as heels – but still.
