The last few days of our last trip to New York were spent in the most amazing hotel. And I’m not just saying that. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the past few years due to my work or Ralph’s touring schedule, and I’ve never been as amazed by a view as I was at the Quin. It might have something to do with the fact that New York has stole my heart and I can’t possibly get enough – but either way, it was a very pleasant experience. We got an upgrade to one of the terrace suites with a gorgeous view over the midtown. I wouldn’t usually go for a hotel more uptown, since downtown (Soho, Nolita, West Village, Greenwich Village) are more my jam. But after spending a good four weeks down below, we figured it would be nice to crash close to Central Park for a few days before leaving the city. It was kind of a pity it was raining all throughout our stay, but we had fun nonetheless. The Quin is a beautiful luxury hotel just steps away from the park and the big department stores. Next time I do have to do some research on good restaurants around, because I don’t really know where to go in the neighborhood. The Quin’s own Wayfarer restaurant has all you need and more though, so basically you don’t even have to leave the building. Which is very convenient when you just want to be lazy and hang around in your room all day (guilty!). We shot this very holiday-ish look on the balcony of our room, that stretched out all the way around the corner. I figured now is a good time to post it, some holiday dressing inspiration for you to enjoy! I’ve actually worn the ensemble to last week’s Christmas party with my friends and I think it was a big success. And yes, with the sneakers. Obviously.
So once again, I’d love to thank this beautiful hotel for their hospitality, I would stay with you guys again in a heartbeat if you’d have me!
