That day in Muizenberg. A beach town here in South Africa with the brightest colored beach houses. They’re build to actually use as a sort of changing room I was told, but for me it actually functioned as the perfect backdrop for this shoot. We were doing a little roadtrip last week, stopping in a bunch of places along the way. So I was not properly dressed for the beach, but I couldn’t help capturing this anyway. So yeah, I’m well aware of the fact that these boots are not the most decent shoes to choose when it comes to beach hopping. I just really wanted to wear them, can you blame me? And how good do they work with the trenchcoat? I have so many wintery looks planned for these, but couldn’t try those out because I bought the boots the day before I left. One of the only things I look forward to doing when I’m back home again – next to celebrating the festive season that is.
