I’ve always wanted to shoot underneath a jaccaranda tree, but unfortunately we don’t have those in Amsterdam. My boyfriend found a photo on Pinterest once, of a street full of those beautiful purple trees. When I googled it, that specific street appears to be in Pretoria, South Africa. While I haven’t been there, I did get lucky on my trip to the country. We were staying with friends just outside Cape Town and guessed what we looked out on? Yup. So shooting there was the obvious move. Kind of obsessing over that DIY I did a few weeks back, see the tutorial here. A light blue dress screams summer for me, especially when paired with other neutral tones. Being a blonde I guess this color works good for me anyway – what do you think?
