We all have our favorites when it comes to our clothing I guess. Mine vary from time to time, and some just stay. Other pieces come back in to my life after spending a reasonable amount of time in the attic. In this case, I’m talking about the skirt. When I got it some time in Fall, I never expected to wear it this much, because: my leopard print skirt. I always had this misconception about animal prints being tacky when I was younger, but I definitely changed my mind about that. I’ve worn this leopard print skirt with boots in Winter, and flip flops or sneakers in Spring. It’s that versatile piece that works with everything, surprisingly, just like the retro sunglasses. Once found at Century 21, an outlet store in downtown Manhattan, for just 50 bucks. I remember putting them on and showing Ralph. He told me I’d probably never wear them, and thus even those 5o bucks would be a waste of money. They were too much “out there” and definitely not common enough when it comes to that. Well, think again baby! You guys might know by now that I’ve basically been wearing these Stella McCartney sunglasses every day since I got them. No regrets! I even bought them in turquoise with mirrored lenses as well, and I’m currently eyeing on the black or the pink version. It just makes all the difference with a simple look, and those pieces specifically are the ones that I love so much. Do you also have favorites like mine above? And if so, what are they? So curious to hear!
