So this is what paradise looks like. I mean, that doesn’t even need a question mark. I know it for a fact. Last summer was only our second time in the Caribbean, after a very quick trip last January to Turks & Caicos. And it’s another thing. Europe has the most stunning beaches, but so completely different from the Caribbean. White sand beaches, turquoise sea. So good, so stunning. I barely felt the need to do something other than laying on my beach chair hour after hour. And so I should.
“Vacations have vacate in them for a reason, no?”
I guess it’s a lesson I learned getting older. Before, or usually actually, I feel the need to explore loads when I go to places that are new to me. I want to see and experience everything. Lately, I felt the need to stay put a bit more. Just relax, enjoy the moment. I can always come back and even if I don’t, it’s not gonna effect my life so much. What is gonna effect my life is the amount of rest I take, food I eat etc. So that’s what I focus on nowadays. Vacations have “vacate” in them for a reason. Because it’s time of the year you don’t really have to do anything at all. Jamaica is perfect for whatever type of traveler you are.
Whether you’re the active one, or the please give me a margarita and all is good kind of person (guess which one I am). We stayed at Azul Sensatori Negril in Jamaica, an all inclusive resort that boasts multiple hotels and bars. Many activities for those who seek them, and plenty of space on the beach or next to the many pools as well. The perfect spot to do everything or nothing at all. Such great hospitality and food. Clean, spacious rooms and a fabulous spa.
Right on the Seven Mile Beach, famous for it’s lengthy adjoining white sand beaches. Fabulousness. Paradise.
