Summer. Seems so far away, looking out of my window over grey skies right now. Because baby it’s cold outside! Wearing sweater and switching the heating on is not ok in May. But just over a week ago, it was all good – testing out my holiday essentials for the Summer. We were on a boat on the Amsterdam canals, enjoying the pre-summer weather. When you live in Northern Europe you know you have to enjoy every second of it, because it could be over before you realize it actually started. But Summer is coming at some point, that’s for sure, so we’d better be prepared. And even when it’s not to warm outside, you can still wear your Summer clothing, you’d just need to layer up and work your magic with coats. I have a couple of trips coming up, so I’m definitely in need of perfecting my wardrobe before I leave. A quick city trip to New York next week before heading to Sicily for a, what I think is, a well deserved little holiday. And since I’m trying to focus on more high quality products that will last longer and definitely throughout the season, I have my fave go-to websites that make selecting these items super easy for me.
I got every single piece I’m wearing here at THE OUTNET in their Summer Shop, a curated collection of anything you might need for you Summer vacay! And all for discount prices which basically is a win-win. The slides for example are from THE OUTNET’s own Iris and Ink, and the most comfortable I own. I want to say that I’ve been wearing them ever since I got them, but then I would be lying since it started raining the day after, but I’m sure I will when the temperatures are more friendly. Any pair of shoes that doesn’t hurt after the first full day on my feest is #winning. And so is the bag, I love versatile pieces that go with a lot in my wardrobe, not having to think twice on a holiday is a very welcome! The slip dress, do I really need to elaborate on this one? It’s the must-have item of the season and I’m loving the baby blue.
