Today is the first day of the rest of my life… A special day, marking a few very special occassions. First and foremost a personal one, hitting 11 years together with my love today. It’s been one crazy and beautiful ride, with so many special moments. It sounds super cheesy but because of him I’m a better person, he makes me want to learn more, do more, achieve more – be more. Without him, Raspberry & Rouge wouldn’t be where it is today. Which brings me to the second thing we’re celebrating here: a new and improved (at least I hope so!) website. I couldn’t think of a better day to launch this design than my anniversary date, December 16th. Because we did this together, and my special day, our special day, is one I’d like to share with you. I have loads of content from my previous trips to the U.S., Australia and South Africa that I still have to share. Today also marks my 700th post and hitting 70K on Instagram – so much to celebrate! I was waiting for my updated design to be finished before publishing them. I’m trying to focus more and more on editorial style posts, instead of your regular outfit posts or previews. This is what I want to do, a first small step into my future with Raspberry & Rouge. This might mean slightly less, but hopefully better content. I always talk about evolving, and this is my way to do just that. More content focused, less commercial distractions. I’d love to be more of a storyteller, sharing my experiences and shedding light on what I’ve been doing or what I think – illustrating that with images. I truly hope you will come along on this ride, as it hopefully is an exiting one!

A short note on these pics then, shot in Death Valley, the warmest place on earth. This national park exists of so many different landscapes, it looks like a place out of this world. We wanted to shoot at the salt flats because of the infinity is resembles, by going on and on – an overwhelming ambience. So widespread, so impressive, a place full of dreams… You can easily imagine yourself on a film set of some Starwars movie or something. Definitely one of the most special locations we ever shot. More of these bucket list locations to come in the next few weeks – until then, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the above! Please go to my home page to see the changes in full effect!
