COLOUR BY NUMBERS

Nothing beats a crisp Spring morning in New York. The daffodils just started blooming, winter coats are left at home, coffees are consumed in the park. Despite the fact that New York is quite a big city, I think it’s a walking city. It’s the best! So many cute little neighborhoods with each their own identity and vibes. So much to discover! And that’s exactly what we’re trying to do here, being back in the city for a bit. We spend loads of time in New York, but still have so much to learn and see. We’re staying in Tribeca for the first time, and decided to venture out and take a little walk in the neighborhood when we saw the sun peeking through the windows when we woke up. And since I tend to adjust my clothing color palette to the city and season we’re in, I decided to go for pastel tones. The entire outfit is from Ted Baker’s “Colour by Numbers” collection, full of fun prints and colors for Spring! The baby blue shirt is what I like to see as “my color” and so perfect for a day to night look like this one. After our morning walk I had to attend some meetings, before hitting up a cosy neighborhood bar for some late afternoon drinks with a friend. I love it when my outfit is basically a no brainer, when I don’t have to change in-between. Even these heels, although they’re quite high, are comfy enough to wear for hours and hours without having to rush home to change for flats (yay for the block heel). So, I guess, when it comes to Spring dressing, I definitely “colour by numbers”: easy as can be.
