When I was younger I was always competing with my sisters when we were on holiday: who got the best tan. We used to spend a couple of weeks somewhere in Southern Europe on the beach or by the pool. Hours and hours out in the sun, with minimal protection. Getting older, I realized that might not have been the smartest thing to do! It’s obviously not healthy at all, as sun really damages your skin, but at the same time I do think it’s so nice to feel the sun on your skin every once in a while.
“Hydration, hydration, hydration.”
Being outside, catching some vitamin D can give me so much energy! So, the key now is to make sure I minimize the amount of hours I’m fully exposed to the sun and maximize protection and hydration. For me it’s important that my legs don’t only look good and glowy, but that they are hydrated and healthy as well.
So now, instead of competing about who gets the darkest skin after a sun filled vacation, my sisters and I share beauty tips, talking about ways to feel and look good. I’ve recently been using the Olay Cleansing Infusion product line and I absolutely love the result. I actually use it before and after going into the sun. Before so I get that glowy look that I love when my bare legs are out, and after to moisturize and hydrate my skin.
The tilt test proves it, this is my natural glow! No added make-up or shine needed after applying the body wash before heading to the beach. I have recommended trying the products to one of my sisters, who’s staying with me in New York this week, and her comment was “I feel like I just came out of a spa, my skin feels so good!”. So there you go! Are you gonna try it?
The line comes in Crushed Ginger and Deep Sea Kelp Scents.
